Why trust Coin Interest Rate?

Our team independently tracks and reviews crypto rates, rewards and product features to help readers compare more than the advertised rate. We use official provider websites, product documentation and other relevant sources when evaluating products.

  • 80+ crypto platforms tracked across staking, lending, cards and other digital asset products.
  • Hundreds of rates tracked alongside features, availability and key risk factors.
  • Independent comparisons. Compensation does not guarantee favorable coverage. Editorial control remains ours.

We compared 21 qualifying ETH earn products and ranked the top 6. CIR score determines the order; current rates and product terms help you evaluate the ranked options.

Risk note: ETH earn products are not insured bank accounts. Confirm how returns are generated, who controls the assets and when withdrawals are available. Disclosure: Rates and terms change. Some outbound links may compensate Coin Interest Rate, but compensation does not determine inclusion or ranking order.

How we chose these picks
  1. 1.A product must have an active, normalized ETH-specific earn offer to qualify.
  2. 2.Only active offers from publicly listed platforms qualify.
  3. 3.CIR score definitively determines rank among matching platforms.
  4. 4.An exact CIR-score tie is resolved by base rate, then maximum rate, then platform name.
  5. 5.Rates, terms, geography, custody and requirements are displayed for evaluation and do not override CIR score.

Ethereum earn accounts are different from ETH staking

ETH supports native proof-of-stake rewards, but this page ranks non-staking earn products such as lending, savings-style accounts, rewards programs and managed vaults. The separate ETH staking ranking covers products explicitly categorized as staking. Keeping the mechanisms separate prevents a lending rate from being presented as a network staking reward.

An ETH earn provider must generate or fund its return through borrowers, strategy activity, platform revenue or incentives. Ask what happens to the ETH after deposit and whether the provider retains custody.

ETH lending, rewards and vault strategies

Lending products depend on borrower demand and collateral management. Rewards accounts can depend on membership or promotional funding. Managed vaults may use decentralized lending, liquidity provision or several protocols at once, creating additional smart-contract and strategy exposure.

Two ETH products with the same APY can therefore behave very differently during market stress. Compare the product classification and requirements rather than assuming every return comes from Ethereum validation.

Reading ETH base rates and maximums

A maximum ETH rate may apply only to a small balance, paid tier, fixed term or limited promotion. Compare the base rate and balance cap before estimating earnings across an entire holding. Also confirm whether rewards are paid in ETH.

Rates can change as borrowing demand and incentives change. CIR score determines the ranking; the rate is shown to help evaluate the ordered platforms and does not override that score.

ETH terms, custody and availability

Flexible accounts can still impose withdrawal processing, limits or account reviews. Fixed terms can prevent ETH from being moved during volatility. Vault withdrawals may depend on protocol liquidity rather than only the provider’s stated timetable.

Confirm whether the specific earn product is available in your jurisdiction and whether depositing changes ownership or creates a claim against the provider. Network support and withdrawal fees also matter when moving ETH.

Risks of earning on ETH without staking

Non-staking ETH returns can expose holders to borrower defaults, platform insolvency, custody failures, smart-contract exploits, strategy losses and liquidity restrictions. ETH price volatility remains even when the token balance grows.

Compare these risks with native staking and self-custody rather than evaluating APY in isolation. The best structure depends on whether the holder prioritizes control, liquidity, simplicity or a particular source of return.

Frequently asked questions

What determines the best ETH earn platform?

CIR score determines this ranking. Rates, access, custody, terms and requirements are shown separately so readers can decide whether a highly ranked product fits their needs.

How many ETH platforms were compared?

21 platforms currently meet the structured eligibility rules. The top 6 are shown, and the list updates automatically as qualifying offers change.

Is the highest ETH rate always the best choice?

No. A maximum rate may be conditional, while platform, custody, counterparty, liquidity and market risks can matter more than a small APY difference.
