What is MGUSD?

MGUSD is MoneyGram's native U.S. dollar stablecoin and the foundation for a planned suite of financial services across its global network. It is designed for people sending money across borders and customers with limited access to traditional financial services.

MoneyGram plans to integrate MGUSD directly into its app through a self-custodial wallet, giving customers a dollar-denominated balance they can hold, move globally, and convert into local currency. MGUSD launched in the United States with plans for broader global availability.
