How earning works

In lending, your assets enter an exchange pool that supplies borrowing demand. The rate changes with pool use, so it can rise or fall after you deposit. You can lend manually or enable Auto-Lend for supported balances. Interest is credited according to the product schedule shown in your account.

SOL works differently. Backpack says its SOL return can include validator staking rewards, block rewards, and Jito MEV rewards. Payouts generally follow Solana epochs and are commonly credited on Fridays. Stablecoin returns may be accounted for through Backpack USD, an internal exchange unit rather than a token you can withdraw directly. Rates, fees, and requirements

Supply rates are variable and should be checked in the signed-in product screen. Auto-Lend can preserve a chosen idle threshold, but supported assets, balance caps, and reward schedules may differ. Backpack USD must be converted or settled through a supported stablecoin route before an external withdrawal.

Access depends on your country and account. The lending product is not available to U.S. customers, even though other Backpack services may be. Confirm whether the balance remains usable as collateral and whether Auto-Lend must be disabled before a trade or withdrawal.

Custody and key risks

Assets held on Backpack Exchange are custodial. Lending adds borrower, liquidation, and pool-liquidity risk to ordinary exchange custody. A redemption described as available may still depend on enough liquidity remaining in the pool. SOL returns depend on validator performance and can be affected by network penalties or operational delays. Backpack USD also creates platform dependency because it is an internal unit rather than a directly withdrawable stablecoin.
