The ether.fi Cash card is a crypto-native credit card that allows you to spend your crypto assets in the real world. It functions as a non-custodial Visa card, meaning you maintain control over your crypto, and can be used for purchases anywhere Visa is accepted. The card is also compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay for convenient mobile payments.

How it Works

The ether.fi Cash card offers two primary ways to fund your spending:

• Borrowing Mode: You can pledge assets such as eETH and eUSD as collateral to borrow funds for your purchases. During promotional periods, the borrowing rate may be 0% with no gas fees.
• Pre-deposit Mode: You can deposit various tokens like USDC, weETH, and others into the card’s associated Vault to use for spending.

A key feature of the card is its integration with ether.fi’s Liquid Vaults. This allows you to earn interest on the assets you’ve deposited, with different annual percentage rates (APRs) for assets like Liquid USD, Liquid ETH, and Liquid BTC. You can load your account using either fiat currency or by transferring assets from a non-custodial wallet.

Benefits of the Card

The ether.fi Cash card offers a range of benefits to its users:

• Cashback Rewards: Cardholders can earn cashback on all their purchases. The specific rate can depend on the user’s card level, with “Core” users earning 2% and “Luxe” and “Pinnacle” users earning 3%. During promotional campaigns, it’s possible to earn up to 5% total cashback, with a portion paid instantly and the rest in ETHFI tokens.
• Interest on Your Crypto: By depositing your assets into the ether.fi Liquid Vaults, you can earn interest on your holdings while they are available for spending.
