BTSE Review

Quick take

BTSE Earn offers flexible savings, fixed deposits, and Auto-Earn for supported exchange balances. Auto-Earn is the clearest convenience: it can move eligible idle assets into flexible savings each day while preserving a balance threshold you choose. The tradeoff is operational friction. You may need to disable Auto-Earn before trading or withdrawing, and leaving a fixed deposit early returns principal without any interest.

How earning works

Flexible savings starts calculating interest after an eligible balance has remained subscribed for the required daily period. BTSE’s support material uses a 14:00 UTC calculation point and says a balance held for less than 24 hours receives no interest for that cycle. Flexible funds can be redeemed, while the rate can change.

Fixed deposits pay at maturity based on the rate and term selected when you subscribe. Early redemption is allowed, but you receive the principal and lose the term’s interest. Auto-renewal is enabled by default on fixed products, so turn it off if you want the balance returned rather than rolled into another term.

Auto-Earn checks supported spot balances daily and moves qualifying idle amounts into flexible savings. You can set a threshold to keep part of the balance available. You can compare crypto interest rates and compare stablecoin interest rates.

Rates, fees, and requirements

Rates, asset support, minimums, and pool capacity can change. The maximum shown in a rate range may require a fixed term or limited offer. Check the flexible base rate and the term-specific rate separately before subscribing.

Auto-Earn currently supports selected assets rather than the full spot market. It can fail when a product is full or a threshold is not met. BTSE does not serve U.S. customers, and identity verification or other account requirements may apply by product and country.

Custody and key risks

All three products are custodial. BTSE controls the assets and determines how the Earn program is operated. Risks include platform failure, changing flexible rates, delayed access, and unclear counterparty use of customer balances. A fixed plan can leave you unable to sell unless you accept losing the entire reward. Auto-renewal can also extend exposure if it remains enabled unintentionally.

Related features

BTSE offers spot and derivatives trading, fiat services in eligible regions, and crypto borrowing. These features may make Auto-Earn useful for idle trading balances, but derivatives and borrowing introduce separate liquidation risks.

Best for

Best for eligible non-U.S. customers who keep idle assets on BTSE and want automatic flexible savings with a configurable reserve balance.
